On-line Booking

To improve our service to members we have introduced a web-based booking system. Members with internet access will be able to book courts up to 3 days in advance. All members will be able to book courts in Highfield via the on-site terminal.

What You Will Need To Book On-Line?
You will need a username and password. This is provided via Highfield Squash Committee and is unique to each member. You will also be provided with a membership card (credit card size with a magnetic strip) that will allow you to book a court from the terminal located in the squash club. Members are reminded that both the swipe card and the PIN are for their use only and must not be given to others.

What Does It Cost To Book A Court?
There is no additional cost for the new system. Use of the court remains at €2 for lights/heating for the 40 minute booking. However, in the 2nd phase, the current token based system will be replaced with 'credits' and each member may purchase court credits and will activate lights on court by means of swiping their membership card in the on-site terminal provided. In the interim, a token will continue to activate the court lights/heating.

What Are Booking Credits ?
As part of the new system – each member will be provided with 20 booking credits. At the time of booking a court you will see your credits reduce by 2. Subsequently, when you arrive at the club to play your match – you will be required to 'confirm' via the on-site terminal that you have arrived and your booking credit will be returned (re-credited). The purpose of this is to ensure that members who book courts actually turn up and play. Note that the on-line system will also allow you to cancel courts ahead of time. Courts that are cancelled up to 24 hours before booked time will have the 2 booking credits fully refunded and courts cancelled within 24 hours of the match time will have 1 booking credit refunded. If the use of the court is not confirmed the 2 booking credits are lost. In response to feedback from members you can also now swap your courts from the time booked to another available time without any loss of booking credits
