Court Usage Policy

The alterations to the court booking rules below reflect how busy the club has become and are in response to players' requests.

All members are earnestly requested to comply with these changes and are advised that breaches will result in withdrawal of booking rights for a period to be decided by the committee:

PEAK TIMES:
To take into account the times when the courts are busiest peak times from September 1st to May 31st are deemed to be:
12:00-14:00 Monday to Friday and 17:00-21:00 Monday to Friday.
These time slots are also clearly highlighted on the online booking system.

VISITORS:
While Highfield welcomes visitors, members are not permitted to play visitors/guests during peak times. Non-members (visitors) are welcome to play in Highfield with a paid-up member but need to pay a once-off fee of €15 to cover the cost of Irish Squash Affiliation (incl. insurance). This fee will not apply to members of other clubs that allow visitors from Highfield free-of charge and who are already affiliated to Irish Squash. After their third time of playing, visitors are required to join the club and the €15 will be deducted from the appropriate membership fee. (Again, this does not apply to members of other clubs - WHO HAVE PAID THE IRISH SQUASH AFFILIATION FEE). You'll need to let one of the captains know when you are bringing a visitor who is not joined another club.

DOUBLE-BOOKINGS:

Double bookings (booking two courts) cannot both fall within the above peak times.

COURT CONFIRMATIONS:
Courts should be confirmed only when used by the player. You should not confirm a court you have not used. If not using a court please cancel and free up for other members use.
